Model 211 Digital Pencil Style Durometer
Type A: For soft rubber and plastics
The instrument uses a digital readout indicator with bold, easy to read numbers. The LCD numbers give durometer readings
to 1/10th of a point. A standard max-hold button holds the peak reading until reset. The durometer's 1/2" diameter base
(1.3cm) is the smallest base permitted by ASTM D2240 Specifications. This allows it to be used in confined or hard to reach
areas other durometers cannot test. These durometers meet or exceed all aspects of ASTM D2240.
Digital Durometers have both standard RS232 format and Mitutoyo Compatible Format outputs. This allows printed output on
Mitutoyo printers or computer hook-up.
Test Stands are available for increased accuracy and speed of operation.

Model 409 Type D Durometer
Type D for hard rubber and plastic
The PTC® Ergo Style Durometers are manufactured to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications for Type D durometers
and designed to measure indentation hardness of hard rubber, plastics, and substances such as acrylic, delrin, kevlar, pvc,
nylon and lexan. The Model 409 has an aluminum die-cast case that tapers to a 1" x 1" base and a removable mounting knob for
comfortable handheld use. The instrument comes complete with an individual calibration test report, maximum reading hand,
test block and carrying case.
These durometers can be used either with a test stand or as handheld testers. Designed to be used with PTC®'s Models 320,
473, or 475 Test Stands.
