What information do we collect? How does JLW use it?

When you submit an Information Request Form, we need to know your name, title, company name, e-mail address, telephone and mailing address.  This allows us to process and fulfill your request.  We monitor visitor traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of our site.  We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, new services, and special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, you can send an e-mail to webmaster@jlwinstruments.com notifying us.

How do we protect your information?

When you submit a profile or an Information Request Form, the data is initially stored on our server behind a firewall and protected with standard password/logon procedures. We then remove the information from the server and stored on a local drive so that none of it resides on a public server.

Will JLW disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.  We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties, but you can tell us not to by sending an e-mail message to remove your name to webmaster@jlwinstruments.com.  Also, we may provide aggregate statistics about traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. We may release information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, or (ii) protect the rights, property or safety of my content, or others.

How do we allow visitors to update or change the information we collect?
